It is interesting that the "Draft Declaration on Combating Terrorism 7486/4/04 REV 4" c.f.
http://www.spy.org.uk/spyblog/archives/000237.html
now makes no explicit mention of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), or "terrorism proofing scrutiny" or SIM cards, or Galileo satellite tracking or RFID tags.
Are these topics too technical for the European Council of Ministers to understand, or have they been quietly dropped ?
It seems to be *Gijs de Vries* rather than his former ministerial colleague Klaas de Vries, who has been appointed as the "anti-terrorism co-ordinator"
