spotted a similar thing happening in 2002 at Barcelona airport. some guy was refused onto the flight to the UK, seemingly because he'd had his long hair cut short. this caused us at least a half-hour delay from boarding the plane, and the reason given was that he was too drunk to board, which may or may not have been true (didn't seem drunk from where i was standing).
